Oklahoma governor to send National Guard troops to Texas-Mexico border​

“In April, federal officials reported Stitt’s son was among over 1,000 Army Oklahoma National Guardsmen deployed as part of Task Force Tomahawk. The deployment also included soldiers from Nebraska and Indiana. The soldiers will provide security support at five installations across three east African countries”.

Florida, Tennesee, Nebraska, Indianna, Idaho and south Carolina have also committed troops. I wonder if this the beginning of a new military cooperation between the states.

Maybe place those troops at Oklahoma borders since down south they still walk through the border.

Even though border states bear the brunt of illegal immigration, it's an issue for all states. I think it's a good thing...if they actually do something. If it's just more posturing, don't waste the time and resources.
