[QUOTE="_CY_, post: 1211742, member: 7629"] Man Killed During Home Invasion Tulsa police are looking for suspects after a home invasion turned deadly for one man. 30-year old Corey Johnson died after the violence at his home, near Hartford and 27th Street North. Investigators say one of the suspects may have been called " lo-lo" during the attack. Newschannel 8's Kim Jackson says police want to know the connection between Johnson and his killers. There's no certainty when it comes to crime. But police say someone broken into a back door here and killed a man, in the presence of a one month old baby. Neighbors knew the man who lived in the yellow house on 27th Street North, Corey Johnson. "I know of him. He's a good neighbor he is real nice to me and I was nice to him we got along real good and I hate what happened to him," said Curtis Cato. What happened to him. His home was invaded. By three suspects. "Our victim was sleep in the living room with his girlfriend and new baby when three individuals came in through a back window of the home and began to assault the victim," said Jason Willingham, of Tulsa Police. They also beat his girlfriend police say. But the baby was unharmed. Eventually, they shot Johnson while he sat on the floor. The big question is why. Police think there is some connection. They just don't know what. "Now whether this was a target, whether this individual was targeted or if there was a specific item in the house we are looking at all of those aspects to see why it happened," said Willingham. ----------------- Tulsa Woman Shoots Two Intruders After They Take Her Money Posted: Jul 15, 2010 7:01 AM CDT Updated: Jul 15, 2010 11:37 AM CDT TULSA, OK -- For the second time in two days, Tulsa Police were called to the scene of a violent home invasion, this time it was midtown Tulsa and the resident fought back. Seeing open doors, robbers entered the home of Stephen Rodolf, near 26th Street and Peoria Avenue, in June and the home of Rabon Martin, in the 1400 block of South Carson Avenue, on July 6, police said.
