I just received my NRA Instructor certification for basic pistol. When we started, the RO had the targets set up at 5 yards. I told him they needed to be set at 15. He said "No, 15 feet not yards. You don't want to shoot this target at 15 yards!" I brought my Ruger Mark II and my HK P30L. I qualified with both the first tries but it was much, much easier with the .22!
