Ended up getting to shoot afterall. Was a blast even tho I melted. Definitely looking forward to winter.
Curious how everyone successfully set up their rifle to cover those dang little green targets then go out to the long range steel….Any advice on set up?
200 yard zero. Then practice at different distances so you know where to hold over/under.

Ran a 3-9 power ….. cleared the stage but too way too long. Thinking of going with offset irons zeroed closer.
I’ve run the last several with a fixed 3x prism optic. It’s minimal for me at 500 but it’s enough ( I know some manage with irons). Your 3-9x shouldn’t give you any trouble up close, just hold a couple inches high and go to town!
