Just in case anyone was unaware, we can now legally carry all those different and varied knives that yesterday were so dangerous. Butterfly knives, sword canes, daggers, etc., all now perfectly legal.

To me it's going from "the legislature must not intend this knife to be deemed offensive if they've named other specific knives in the statute" to "all knives should be treated the same if deemed offensive" - to me a net loss.

Yes, there are no longer any restricted knife types and the state law preempts any local ordinances.
