Saw another thread I didn’t want to hijack so thought I’d start my own. Does anyone here like reading older books? I have four right now that could be appropriate to a prepping thread. Haven’t read them yet but they’re sitting in the wings when I have some time.

This one is from 1910

Not sure what I’ll find in them but it will certainly be interesting to see if there are some hidden gems.

Wife collects old cookbooks. We went to an estate sale a while back and turned out it was the couple that owned Ann's Chicken Fried Steak on 39th Expressway. Bought an old cookbook and a recipe box that had tons of her handwritten recipes!! Can't imagine a family that didn't want to keep those........
