    druryj...........I know exactly what you mean. I remember as a 7-8 year old kid looking through the Sears,J C Penny, and Montgomery Ward catalog at toys, BB Guns and Mini Bikes!!!

    This almost exactly what my Dad and I built in the 60's. We started with the front forks of a junk bycyclye and welded a frame to house a 2 1/2 HP go cart B&S engine, used a go cart sprocket and centrifugal clutch. Made a seat from plywood with foam attached and covered with naugahyde. I think it is still in the attic of my Dad's house.

    They're not much cheaper, but rarely go for full MSRP. been real popular for millennials to get around town on.

    I’ve got a 1973 Honda CT 70 as seen in my profile picture. It came in a trade and was in 7 milk crates of parts.

    Nah, we were lucky to scrounge up enough money to buy regular old gas.
