Old tools

So I missed the last ENS to get some free wood working tools . As I get the shop tools ( table saw, wood lathe, band saw and the other items set up I will share some of the pics .
Here are a couple items I have run across going through the boxes of miscellaneous wood working tools .
I assume these are for marking circles , still need to look into these.

Next two are just cool. Have always wanted old drills like these but I am too cheap to drop money on something I will rarely get the time to use . Going to clean them up and hang em up for display !!

@okierider; me old dad had a chalkline gizmo that looked like that last pic above with the gears. T'was pinkish, as best I can recall.

I've still have some old tools that my father had and a few that I've picked up. They are always good as a backup to power tools that can go out at any time....the old tools just keep on truckin'

I think I know what your talking about but that geared gizma whatchamacallit is a drill. Works pretty well to.

Okay the first pic is tramel heads and marking circles are what the are for . You use them when a compass is to small.
Being a framer we generally used a 1x2 with a nail on one end and a pencil on the other. Bigger circles I would use 1x4

I think I still have a hand drill like the one on the right but I have not had a brace and bit in years. I want one for when the SHTF. No power, no problem.

That would be under the thread name "P.O.S. politicians " ........... They are to worthless to qualify for "tool"

I picked this old tool up last year, heavy as can be, bought it at an estate sale for $150

From the serial number it appears to be from the 50’s. It’s a Delta/Rockwell jointer.
