Casa Bonita (during it's heyday) Crystal's Knotty Pine BBQ Ma Bell's When I was young and we were in Tulsa it was like Christmas trying to choose between Casa Bonita on one end of the plaza or Crystal's on the other. Casa Bonita was just amazing during it's heyday and a kids paradise but Crystal's was sparkly and had the coolest games and a make it yourself sundae bar and it was really, really hard to choose which one to go to, especially when you aren't from there and only get the opportunity once every couple years. Dang, I miss those places...if I were a billionaire I would build both of them again to their former glory for new generations of children. Knotty Pine was a place I visited when I was young with my uncle. He had a told me it was the greatest place in town and had lines around the building to get in. We went early to avoid the rush and it was everything my uncle described. The food was amazing, the floor was covered in saw dust and peanut shells and they brought your soda in a bottle, it was like being back in the old west for a young child seeing it for the first time. Sure enough when we left there was a line of people stretched around most of the building. Ma Bell's was a place where everything was telephone themed. They had every kind of burger you could imagine and an old style phone you would use to order. Basically a theme restaurant before theme restaurants became popular. It was just so out of norm I really liked it.
