It sounds like Kentucky is still a red state for now, they just didn't like their governor because he bad mouthed the teachers.

Now Virginia sounds like a different situation all together from what I have read on other forums from folks that live there.

They have seen this coming for a while now, and many of them are looking to get out as soon as possible.

Now, from what I read somewhere, Virginia just had their election put the Dems in control of both houses of their legislature. While not a sign that the state is actually turning blue, it does feed the narrative.

One of the problems I see with Virginia is a big chunk of the population in the northern part of the state are the "SWAMP PEOPLE" from D.C that live and vote in VA.
