That pin ink isn't the end of the world on knives like that and wouldn't stop me from buying one..

The ink wouldn’t stop me either and they do look authentic

They are real and the ink affects the whole value (knife and sheath) but not much. Since they look new, you can send them to RMK and get new sheathes fitted and you wouldn't see much difference. The ink and embossing from the ball point pen will pretty much be there forever even if you manage to remove the ink itself with some chemical. It would probably only affect the value by $50 to maybe $75 worse case.
