Optional Powders

1) 6.5 Creedmoor - I currently have Win Staball 6.5, and 2/3 lb of IMR 4350.

2) 45-70 - I currently have 1/2 lb of IMR 4198

3) 45 Colt - I currently have W231, W296, 2# Unique.

Here's what I have or have used for these:

1) 6.5 Creedmoor - H4350, IMR 4350, IMR 4064, IMR 4451 - pretty much anything for 30-06/.308 works.

2) 45-70 - H4198, H335, IMR 4064 - I have a 444 Marlin which is almost identical load-wise to 45-70; levergun-wise.

3) 45 Colt - IMR Red (favorite, but discontinued), Titegroup, CFE Pistol, ACC #5, Acc #2, 700X.
CFE Pistol in a 45 Colt at 9.2gr will sling a 250gr LRNFP over 1000FPS and stay under 14K PSI per Hodgdon. I clocked 5 rounds I did at 1005-1012 in a 7.5"colt.
