[QUOTE="dennishoddy, post: 2830644, member: 5412"] Putting the Branch Dividians in the same boat as the folks in Oregon is stupid. I'll bet you naysayers would have worn the British red in the Revolution. I'm not on the road, but I do applaud folks that go to extremes for their cause. Our 1st and 2nd rights have been eroded by people that have taken the extreme route, and we have stupidly compromised. Sometimes it takes people on the other side of the coin to go a little radical to make their point. The Bundy's were stepped on in the first meeting with the BLM, and the BLM got their ass handed to them by folks that took over the high ground during the confrontation forcing them to back off. I guess their "tactical leaders" thought the average gun owner was stupid and didn't understand how they could just roll onto the scene with some guns and intimidate the dummy's. LOL, their mistake. I don't have any further opinion of what happened in this case as I haven't looked at the situation yet. Need to go online and see what information is out there regarding the fire. (130 acres in that area? I burn three times that much every spring, and the Corps of engineers burn thousands on COE lands every year to suppress cedars and promote wildlife friendly regrowth).
