Good evening guys,
Hope everyone had a great Friday.
The wife and I spent most of the day cleaning the house out and separating the things we are going to sell from the things we are going to keep. We are mainly just keeping some of our cloths and a few personal things. We are going to sell everything in the house. Already sold a few things tonight on our online garage sale.
This is our phase one, which is to get rid of our house and most of the furniture and appliances.

For the next two years we are planning on living at the studio in our little apartment Sunday through Wednesday night and then going to the lake house Wednesday night through Sunday morning. We figure if we can do this for a couple of years we can make it to the lake house full time. We just figured that it was time for us to STOP setting ourselves on fire just to keep everybody around us warm. We have to be proactive or we will never be where we want to be. So we decided that today was the day to start. Fingers cross, it all works out.

We are the kind of folks that will have to do something once we retire. I have already had offers to work as security at one of the Casinos once we decide to make the final move.

I think you will find that as you get rid of "stuff," you will actually begin to feel liberated. Back in 2011, we sold a 2250 sq ft house on 3/4 of an acre and moved into our RV. We did feel liberated as things went away. Just before moving into the RV, we were down to two chairs, the TV and its stand, and our bed. We gave the bed and TV and numerous tools and lawn and garden equipment to the people that bought our house.

While I have a bunch of stuff in the basement of our RV, I really need to go through that area and get rid of anything that I haven't used in the last year or so. It will surprise people to discover how much stuff they have that never gets used.

These are not the firearms you're looking for.

Was doing a little research into one of the Mauser Lugers I have. There are a ton of variations/models/mfg that all go into determining the value of these guns. Well, I found a Luger that sold in 2017 that was within 20 of my serial #!!

This one was in a little better overall condition of mine and it came with a matching holster (mine did not). However, I do have 2 matching magazines, which the one above does not. Might be a wash. These 2 guns were almost next to each other during their assembly! The internet is truly an amazing thing!!

Dance? Right now, I'd like to at least be able to do that. As for my age, let's just say my parents are in their 70's, so I shouldn't feel as old as I do right now. I fell 3 times this weekend and the last one I couldn't even get back up by myself. I had hip surgery 2 years ago that has proven to be unsuccessful. Even when I've been falling down drunk in the past I could always at least stumble my way back up. Getting old sucks, but as they say: It's better than the alternative.

Every day above ground is a good day.
