Back in 2019, we took a trip to Idaho to help wife's cousin and his wife celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. We spent a whole month up there so that I could take in more sights and take photos. We took a few days and went over to the Washington/Oregon border area to drive up and down the Columbia River Gorge and get photos.
The following photo is of Multnomah Falls, which is something of an iconic scene that just about any serious photographer has pictures. So, I added myself to that list. There are a number of waterfalls along the gorge, and we photographed a lot of them. Most photographer show images of Multnomah Falls taken in the portrait position of the camera, to get in more of the falls. While I did take such photos, I think the "landscape" version gives more of a perspective of the size of the falls. There are people standing on the bridge to help with perspective.
