Just came back from across the bridge getting more gas. The electric company are starting one hour rolling blackouts. I think we are good in case we lose power.

looking toward our place. Yes that is the lake. WOW!

I tried to call our Electric Coop (RRVREA) to ask about blackouts, and their office was closed.

It's a sunny and clear morning up here on the Grand Lake Glacier.
Hope everybody made it through the night without their pipes freezing. Our neighbor didn't.

Thankful that at even -14*, my heater only runs 10 to 15 minutes an hour!

After hearing that GRDA is going to lower the water level 3 feet today, I went down to the new dock to check on our boat and found that most of the motors, that were not lifts, are frozen in the lake. I was able to free two that are on lifts with an ax.
But some of these will be frozen for some time.
Not sure what is going to happen when the lake goes down and the ice doesn’t.
