Had a great afternoon on the lake this afternoon. I ran across hundreds of Pelicans and Water Turkeys. I love the wild life here at Grand. I took some great video of the birds in mass but can’t post a video on here for some reason.
Also caught a mess of hybrids and white bass. I just followed the birds. Lol

Well my relaxing trip to the ranch only last for 10 minutes after I got there. I unloaded my truck and then went to my 5th wheel to wash my hands and no water.........??? Turns out the pressure switch on the pressure tank went belly up so I had to drive 35 miles to get another one. Having a ranch 30 miles from the nearest town with a population of over 150 is great for the peace and quite but not so good when you need something like a well pump pressure switch........Oh well, I did get it all fixed after about 3 hours and then had some free time to ATV all the trails on the ranch. I have thousands of trees and after every storm I have to move limbs as small a a couple of feet to whole trees to get the trails clear. Thank goodness for a tractor with a front end loader and a bulldozer as some of the limbs are way too much to move by my 72 year old body. After clearing the trails I drove over to my neighbor and looked at his new tractor that he won in a drawing. Its the 2nd time he's won a tractor after only buying a couple of tickets......Very lucky..
I worked more than I planned but still had a great time.........

Good morning guys.
I’m having coffee on the deck this morning as well. It’s a little chilly but sunny up here on the lake. Looks to be another gorgeous day though.

Plans are to back out on the boat today. Do a little fishing and wildlife watching.

Have a great day!

Envious! The only wildlife I have seen this morning was a bird that popped out of a birdhouse, and a lazy squirrel that crossed one corner of the yard. Maybe I’ll get to see a neighborhood cat wander by. Gonna be an exciting day! Oh well, time for another mug of coffee!
