I've been drinking a lot of hot chicken bouillon with tabasco. Seems to help loosen things up a bit.

Tried beef, but it don't have as much flavor as the chicken. Think I'll try two beefs (lol, beeves?) next time.

This will cure what ails you. My version of a hot toddy...

A few ounces of bourbon
About a teaspoon of honey
Microwave it for about twenty seconds
Stir well
Sip and watch your troubles melt away

After a couple of these you should feel much better.

Mom always added a splash of lemon juice to this. As a kid, I was afraid to tell her I had a cold because I knew what was coming!

Now, Wild Turkey American Honey is one of my favorite things!

Yeah, a little lemon juice goes good with it but I never seem to have any around so I left that out.

True story (although I don't remember the exact quantities/proportions) - when one of our little ones was colicky, the pediatrician (old timer) told the wife to mix an ounce of warm water, an ounce of bourbon, a tablespoon of honey, and a splash of lemon juice. "Give the baby half-an-ounce, and you drink the rest." He was dead serious.
