Nice leisurely float down the Buffalo. Great day to waste hanging out on its nature.

We have floated the Buffalo several times. 12 mile trips every time. I'd like to do some of the two/three trips that end up at the White river with an outfitter. I hear it's a good time with small bunkhouse type cabins to spend the nights on.

Here, but occasionally There.
I think I missed this yesterday.

So, here's a kind of close up of the Smith River in California. We floated the Smith a few years ago in inflatable kayaks, but put in further downstream. I think I was 69 that year and it was the first time the wife and I had ever floated a river.

This is the Smith River down at the Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. We floated through this area.

I didn't get any pictures on the float trip as I was fearful of taking my good cameras along and chancing them getting wet. This next picture was taken when we went to visit the Stout Grove of the state park. If I remember right, the Stout Grove was behind me and this bridge takes one across the river to the main part of the state park.

Good evening folks.
I had a little free time today at work so I took the Agency Arm Compensator and the Agency Arms threaded barrel out of my G43. I’m thinking about selling them and going back to stock.
Except for the trigger. I’m keeping the Agency Arms trigger. I really like the trigger.

Had a great day at the range. Got to shoot an AR that launched golf balls about 500 yards at least. Gotta have one. I'll be building it on my lathe although I'm sure they can be bought online.
