Just finished up the Montgomery, AL area for road surveys today, so we will head back to Oklahoma tomorrow for the wife to get to her medical appointments. After finishing the last records we needed to do, I took some pictures as we headed back to the hotel for the day. While working a road the other day, I saw this "place" from a bridge, so we stopped there today and I got some shots. The "tower" at the water's edge doesn't seem to be associated with the old industrial building beyond it. I have no idea what the "tower" is, and searching online doesn't seem to turn up anything. Here is a small example of the vine taking over other trees or poles. While I was taking the pictures, the wife told me to "not stand too lone in one place." She didn't want Kudzu getting ahold of me. If weather holds, we should be able to finish working Alabama in about 3 weeks after we return from the wife's medical appointments.
