We drove back to the Tulsa area yesterday morning to have the work van checked out. The tech guys got right on it and started checking different computer settings and such. Then, they told us to just chill a bit as they were going to go out and test it. They came back a bit later and said, "Well, we REALLY broke it." Apparently, they have some problems with some new system boards that caused some problems. Our first thought was, "Oh, GREAT. Now we get to set for a few days while things get fixed." Instead, they assigned us another van that had been being used to do Texas roads and that team finished their area. (They started much earlier than we did.) So, this morning, we get to go do certification runs with the new (to us) van and then start getting some work done. Crossing our fingers that this one works well. The wife thinks we might still have 3 1/2 weeks yet to finish our work, and that pushes us right up against my appointment for my next eye injection treatment. With luck, we can finish before the appointment so that we don't have to make a special trip back just for that. And hopefully, the work being done on our RV home will be done by then as well, and we can move back into home.
