More follow-up: It looks like the wife and I will be driving back to the office tomorrow to see what can be done with either this van or perhaps the one we had prior to this one, or perhaps some other option. Our "drive team" manager called us this morning to visit about our situation. He surprised us by stating that by their estimates, the wife and I are about 2 weeks AHEAD of schedule, in spite of being out for about 8 or 9 days due to the COVID. We continue to be surprised at the respect the people at the company for us and what we are doing. So, we will head out once again in the morning and be back in the Tulsa area around 11:00 am or so, and the plan is to let the tech people deal with things with the hope of us coming back to Texas on Wednesday. There are roughly three options: Fix the first van we had, fix or replace the laser on the van we currently have, or get another van altogether. I guess we'll see tomorrow what the tech guys can pull off. All I can say is that it is a good thing that I like driving.
