Progress in the first 20 minutes of work.. no tools required. .

The roof is the only thing that is solid. Lol

First full day of work...

Removed the plywood decking, replaced the rotted joists, braced the deck so the posts can be removed. Placed the new deck boards on to have something to walk on.

Yeah, won't be too hard to hold up while finishing the rest. Good luck. Looks like a fun job. Seriously. I like building things.

Tomorrow is going to be getting most of the deck boards fastened in place and bracing the roof so the rotted posts can be removed.

There is only about 1.5 inches of the middle of the 4x4 posts left holding up the roof. Kinda scary to think about while working underneath it....
