People who like flat triggers mostly like em because they can put their finger on the trigger lower than they should do they can get a lighter trigger via leverage.
They don’t give any feedback to the user as to where they should be consistently placing their finger during the shot cycle.

I was wondering size wise how it compared to the 48. The Sig will still hold more rounds with a standard mag.

If you reference my post here: https://www.okshooters.com/posts/3109310/

And cross reference the specs here: https://www.osagecountyguns.com/blog/news/sig-sauer/new-sig-sauer-p365-xl/

You'll come up with the following:

Weight with mag (12rd): 588 grams / 20.74 oz
Weight loaded with 12 rounds: 744 grams / 26.24 oz

0.90” wide across slide
1.01” across widest part of grip
1.05” across grip + mag release
1.11” across slide release or takedown lever

Height: 4.80"
Length: 6.61"

Glock 48
Weight with mag (10rd): 588 grams / 20.74 oz
Weight loaded with 10 rounds: 720 grams / 25.40 oz

0.87” wide across slide
1.11” across slide release or takedown lever

Height: 5.04"
Length: 7.28"

So shorter in both ways and only heavier due to the 2 extra rounds.

I find it interesting that when the G48 was introduced, everyone oohed and ahhed like the heaven had come to earth, but this gets the reaction of two thumbs down.

I want one, personally. It won't replace my P365, but it makes a great additional option.

I ordered a new 15 round mag for my P365 last night. SIG uses FEDEX Dumb post so it might make it here by the end of the month. It's plain ugly on the P365 but the reason is it's designed for the P365XL. I will only use it as my P365 spare mag and at the range. I currently have no desire to buy a P365XL as the bbl is only slightly longer and I have no use for the gun with an optic. BUT...I probably will pick up an XL grip module just to throw my P365 in and see what it's like. Won't have to buy an extra gun, just a cheap grip module. Very small gun with a 12 round flush and 15 round extended mag. Sorta like a G43X plus.

Thank you for the comparison. For the record I was never in awe of the G48. I have always stayed firm in my preference for the P365. With the number of rounds it holds and the concealability it fits my needs quite well for IWB carry. With a P365XL having a longer barrel and grip I would lose some of that concealability.

The Sig email I got showed both a sleeve to fit the P365 and the XL. So it wouldn’t have a gap if used with the P365.

Anyone else get their hands on a 15rd mag? I picked one up today, and the spring is stupid difficult to compress. More so than any handgun mag I’ve ever loaded before.

I pulled the spring from it, my 12 round, and the standard 10 round. It doesn’t look the same.

I've had one for quite awhile. A little tight at first without a mag loader but loosened up just fine in a couple of days loaded.
