We met several local farmers on this trip and every one of them hates those antelope. One of them said antelope to us here are like hogs to ya’ll back home.
It's the same way in the panhandle from what I've seen which is limited to very few landowners. Talked to a couple of land owners about their prairie rats as they call them, and when asked about hunting, the price tag came out.Yea I’ve heard that before. Then when you ask if you can shoot one.....story suddenly changes.
Can’t say that’s the case in the panhandle but in Nebraska and South Dakota quite common.

Farming/ranching in the panhandle is tough. I don't blame them for looking at some extra bread money.
