That guy is my favorite old guy. Lol. His videos have zero production quality, but the guy has an insane amount of subscribers and views. Just awesome.

It seemed obvious to me years ago, that a longer barrel, with longer iron sight radius, was capable of a little better accuracy on a little longer distance target. Talking about a16”- 20” length barrel. Might have seen an old model .22 rifle with a 22” barrel. Don’t think I ever saw a 24” barrel. Was surprised to hear the powder burned completely up in the longest barrel and remaining length of barrel lands dragged, slowed down the bullet. Lowered velocity and probably negatively affected accuracy. Comparing the barrel length question to center fire calibers, I read that some .308 Win loads (standard? Hunting?) burned completely, got all the velocity benefit possible fired out of a 18” barrel.
