That’s a single officer with limited resources. Sure it doesn’t give you permission to speed but this situation is different. This situation would be more like you driving 66 in a 65 and the Charger is running 130 but the cop manages to pull you both over. Once pulled over he strips searches your car, impounds it, and writes you the maximum ticket he can for speeding and racks on wreckless driving and whatever else he can think of then he walks over the the driver of the Charger and says, hey try to keep it below 80, have a nice day.

And I’d have to take it. the side of the road isn’t the place to argue a ticket that’s for court.

It would be fun to stand on the side of the road and scream “you’re letting him Crooked Charger go and writing me a ticket, not fair! am I being detained? am I being detained!?”

I haven't read all the pertinent documents. When they say the "Trump Organization", are they referring to his election organization or his private interest?

If the pay back to Cohen came from Trump's campaign then, yeah, that is a clear violation of campaign finance laws.

If it came from his private business, then it's a real stretch.
If I was a prosecutor I would be inclined to look at both the Trump organization ledgers as well as the Trump election campaign committee's.

The Trump campaign payed the Trump organization for many things.
Among other things, the Trump campaign paid the organization for rent in Trump tower, flight time on Trump's 757, rental for events at Mar a Lago and catering services.
In the same way that the Trump organization reimbursed Cohen, the campaign could have reimbursed the Trump organization.
A thorough prosecutor would look for evidence of that.
Maybe that's why Weisselburg was immunized.

Patiently waiting for the next drip.

I think in the end, they'll find Trump's last living grade school teacher, offer her immunity and discover that he turned in someone else's spelling assignment as his own. As a result he'll be impeached, forced to step down, the Trump organization will be auctioned, and the proceeds will be used by the DNC during the next election. The way things are going the above scenario wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Michael Cohen was also RNC deputy finance chairman until he resigned in late June.
Since has pleaded guilty to multiple bank fraud charges the RNC might also want to conduct an audit there.

Man you are really grasping those straws aren't you? It's no more illegal for his campaign to pay than if the Hillary campaign had procured those services.

This is the crux of it for me and I still haven’t got a clear answer. Dude is a sleaze regardless of our opinions of his presidency. Paying off a dried up porn star is sleazy but hey it ain’t illegal; we’d expect it fro a sleaze. But let the man pay his hooker her hush money. More upstanding people have gotten away with much worse.

But if he used campaign money to do it, well yeah that’s the rub isn’t it? I’ve not seen this succinctly answered and based on how you can flow money through entities I doubt we will.

But the guilty plea seems to say something was up. At least enough that even if it wouldn’t stick someone didn’t want a long protracted case to argue against it.

This is also probably the least vile thing the man has done. If you’re gonna argue trumps shouldn’t be president or he’s poorly credentialed, there’s surely way more to find out there than him getting his pecker wet in Ms Daniels then paying her to shut her mouth and not her legs.

I know it’s hard to comprehend and talk about something other than the liberal narrative and the 99% negative news being reported about Trump, and now regurgitated on OSA, the swamp runeth over.

You know what’s funny when you search the internet for Obama campaign finance violations? All you get are results that are regurgitated from one site to the next about Trump. You do not get results about obama.

Maybe you liberals should watch this documentary trailer; The Creepy Line:
