I have built 2 "rimless" Wasps in the AR using 6.8 SPC brass. The round is still loaded with 219 Donaldson Wasp dies...
My Wasp is shooting Sierra's 53 gr. Match King bullets at 3,362 fps., and while this round is far from being fast, it's accuracy will beat the pants off of the majority of the bolt action rifles out there.
Even though not needed for sure, I put a muzzle brake on this barrel so I could watch the bullet impact through the scope, also meaning near zero recoil.
