While looking through info on replacing fmj bullets with hunting rounds and Mexican matching steel case ammo, I found these. If you’re hard up trying to find Soviet brass, and want to mess with reloading steel case, there’s a company that makes a kit to convert your steel cases to boxer primers. Just thought I would share.

Bits look to me like common spot drills. Maybe it's the size that makes them special?

Also you can hydraulically remove the berdan primers with an appropriate punch and then mod the pocket . there is a couple videos out on that.
I did not fully look into it but I guess you can also buy berdan primers .

I know you use to be able to buy the berdan primers but i havent seen any on the market in several years but i could have been over looking them too

According to the webpage the kit allows you to extract the primers without the hydraulic press deal, which is nice.
I haven’t found any berdan primers. I wouldn’t be opposed to using them if they were dirt cheap.

I’m not too sure. Perhaps it’s a special size. I figure the jig is where the majority of the money is going.

Have not looked but read about these guys . basically says search GB and another auction sight.

I thought the Berdan primer pockets were different from american Boxer sized primers
