Pike Pass for Motorcycle

Does anyone use a pikepass for their motorcycle. I just received mine in the mail and the instructions stated that motorcycles with a full windshield have to use the suction cups for this plastic device. I've heard of others just putting it in the saddlebags or trunk and it still working. My bike has a bat wing fairing and ten inch windshield. Not sure if this is considered a "full windshield". Anyone?

Your batwing windshield will work. If you have a t-bag on your fairing you can put it in there and it will work.

Don't know about the new sticker type pike passes but with the old white square ones I put in my backpack with no problems.

Thanks. My thought was to put it in my windshield bag but the instructions were a little vague.

I agree. Plus the chance of it falling off and the blind spot.

They sent me a new box type one. I mounted it on the bottom of the saddlebag lid with the sticky Velcro. Works fine.

Good Idea. Frees up the windshield bag and you can lock the saddle bags.

I have a batwing fairing also. I keep my pass in my pocket and pull it out as i pass thru the toll gates. I've resisted sticking it anywhere on my bike.

If its the box type there's no reason to remove from your pocket. It will pick up.
