Has anyone heard any more on this? Have the lawsuits started?

There was a lawsuit filed last year that both parties agreed to put on hold till after the ATF published the notice, and it’s been since resumed. There are two or three other lawsuits that were filed after the notice, as well. The judge in one of these lawsuits recently denied the plaintiff’s request for a preliminary injunction to bar the ATF from enforcing the rule when it goes into effect the end of next month; that’s the latest I’ve heard.

Game wardens are state/county. US Wild
Except when they are. We have both - Federal and State. Just go to a hunt on Sequoyah, Wichita Mts, or other federal land.
His main assumption was that all game wardens are federal. They aren't. Hence my answer.
What about Game Wardens? Since they are Federal, lets say they check you during deer season and you are hunting with your 12.5" 6.5grendel with a pistol brace. Where would that fall??? Can he take it???

Federal agents are assigned to federal lands and Refuge law enforcement has its own kinda category. You won't see a refuge agent walking onto private land to check your license and your legal means of take...it probably wouldn't go well for anybody. They definitely aren't gonna come in looking for now illegal SBRs because you wanna keep your brace and stand your ground.

Growing up in AZ, we hunted BLM land a lot. Never saw a federal game and fish agent. Only time we saw feds were forest service coming to see if you're fire is ticketable. AZ Game and Fish were all we ever encountered on BLM.
