Well here it goes, I have seemed to of developed an itch for a new SBR. I'm currently planning on doing a PTR PDW in either .308 or 7.62x39, does anyone have an opinion on the better caliber? I'm thinking .308, my cheap side keeps bringing me back to the x39 round for round cost and AK mags. I might even add a can later on down the road, right now I am just being indecisive lol.
I like the 300 blackout. I have a 10.5" 223, and am waiting on a form 1 for an AK. I slapped my buddies 9" 300 blackout on my lower the other day with subs and a suppressor and that setup put the biggest smile on my face.
I'm waiting on my paperwork for a 9.5" 300 blackout right now. I'd also like a 5.56 too.
I have 300 blackout in a AAC 12.5", the problem is you can't find ammo ANYWHERE. Hopefully that won't be for much longer.
When I do an SBR, it will be .300 Blackout with an 8-9" barrel.
Yup, I will be goin the same route!! It's a perfect length. The 10"+ setups look awkward to me, but I like shorty AR's so that's were I'm coming from. Lol
Its one of the 'awkward' 10+ inch setups. I guess some men are just more experienced with longer barrels than others...
