I had to buy some more ammo today since Im down 500 rounds with this Freedom thing, and its nice outside. Looks like a good day to practice on the plate rack.

Sucks. Very little wind and the trees I can see out the window, leafs are not so much as twitching. Wanted to set up a few at 200 with some match grade ammo.

Bought a silhouette 500 steel target at Tulsa and plan to set it up for 500 yards or put it at 400 and get another round gong for the 500...don't know yet.

Shipping always kills me. Only paid 100 bucks for the target and it came with heavy duty dual chains and a t-post adapter if I wanted to stick it on one. Not sure how durable a T-post would be getting knocked around.
Will use some re-bar or pipe to make the stand.
The place i know uses flat rate boxes and really puts it to usps. A tpost is stupid tuff. They will take a lot of abuse.
It's the weight of the target I was concerned with. Plus the exposed Tpost will get his more often because of its vertical position.
Itll hold it. Shooting it will be hardest on it. Ive seen them used as pry bars easily holding 150lbs while horizontal
