My lil 'ol mouse gun for EDC. Ruger SP101 .357 Mag, some may argue capacity is crud at only 5 rounds.....BUT, I am very comfortable with her and like the caliber for SD. Carried AIWB she makes me happy...

Has anyone that is solely pocket carrying, tried to get some training in FOF/CQC situations? Kinda hard to go digging in your pockets when you are in any other position other than standing up straight... IMO. No way I'd walk around with my hands in my pockets either.... due to the same considerations.

I have used mine in CC matches where you had to draw from concealment. Formal training, no.
Practice, yes.

This is my EDC.

S&W 640-3 in .357 Magnum.

The internal lock mechanism has been removed.

I made a Kydex pocket holster for it that keeps the grip above the top of the pocket for an easier draw.

I am one of the fat people that so many here like to make snide remarks about, so I always wear my shirt tail out and it conceals it very well.

It is so comfortable that I sometimes have to double check to make sure it is there.

Lol, as am I.

I prefer a shoulder holster, but also sweat like a mule, so it has to be pretty cool before I can stand wearing something to cover it.

I like to cc a full size 1911 or even a Beretta 92 or a S&W N frame but I just don't feel right without my little S&W 442
in my pocket but I did pick up a S&W model 60 pro and have switched it out with the 442, it's not as small but packs a good punch (357 compared to 38spl). I don't mind the bigger guns at all and the weight is no big deal since I carry a lot of it around anyway (fat boy).

I carry a Ruger LC9S Pro in my pocket. Goes in and out easily. I keep two extra mags in my back pocket.
