Can anyone find the pic of an Israeli teacher with a m16 over her shoulder escorting kids into their school? The same pic with US teachers doing the same in schools across the US would have an impact on prospective sickos. They would have some serious doubts about trying to implement their plans. Just my humble opinion. Arm a teacher save a kid.
Yes, I do. My oldest daughter is a teacher and yes, I know they do an invaluable service and the world would be chaotic without them.

I get so damned sick and tired of them pissing and moaning about needing more money. Their job is supossed to be a true calling just as mine.
When was the last time you saw cops on the capitol's lawn marching for more money? They knew the pay when they took the job. If they didn't like it, they should have chose another career.

Of course it was NBC, but they interviewed two teachers that said the would not carry nor use a gun in the classroom.

The teachers know this going into the position, it is not a surprise or unknown when they are taking courses to become a teacher. When my wife graduated from osu in 1993, her first teaching position paid $600 a month at a private school. If these people that go into teaching think something will change, they are wrong. A teacher will never get wealthy. Unless they marry someone who earns a real living wage.
Now my wife volunteers on a couple home school board of directors. She hasn’t been paid for more than 10 years since she quit teaching and she was paid so little, we barely miss her income. Thank God I have a good job!
And by the way, she would not hesitate to attempt to stop a school shooter with her firearm.
Ah yes, one of the more embarrassing conservative ideals..... don't pay your teachers.... that teacher your children. Then wonder why your economy sucks and why you and your politicians aren't smart enough to figure out how to solve your fiscal problems.
