My wife with Eve our pitbull And Maggie our boxer. My wife was coming home from work new years eve 2007 and the story is that this puppy was running around in traffic and almost caused a wreck at 31st and garnett. She opened her door and the puppy came up to the car and got right in with her,(I still suspect to this day that my wife found someone with free puppies and just went and got one since she had been wanting another dog, the pitbull won't admit to the lie but she's pretty cagey and keeps her mouth shut too). We posted signs and found dog ads and looked for lost dog notices for a couple of months, If you see this and lost a dog around that time sorry we couldn't find you but we tried. I didn't want a big dog but Tulsa's policy at the time was to euthanize any unclaimed pitts and that wasn't happening, having had pitts before and knowing just how great they really are I let her keep it. Memorial day of last year her 16yr old lab/boxer mix started seizing and we had to have her put down it was either organ failure or brain tumors... So now Eve is depressed fast forward 2 months and the stupid dog still doesn't do anything but mope around. A buddy of mine still has a couple of boxer puppies left out of a litter, I traded a corbin seat for a puppy and the pitbull was happy again.
