Lol, I had a strange "discharge" once myself. All my brothers (and brother-inlaw) had .22LR and/or .22 mags when I was kid (my nearest brother was 11 years older).Well being a mans point of view, I have and have had more than a few thosands of rounds of ammo in my life. For me to discover one that was not intentionally shot off by me intentionallu was significant is all I was trying to share, stuff can happpen
Was at my sister's house one day (I was about 12-13?) and found a live .22LR cartridge in the back yard. I'm thinking, "Her kids don't need to find this," so I flung it as high and far as I could down the paved road.
That sucker went off when it landed and scared the daylights outta me. Obviously only the case busted, but at that age I didn't have a clue. It actually had the "zing" of a ricochet.
I beat feet back into her house.
