Thanks for the prayers. Gus is home now and is doing well. Other than the bald spot on his neck that his sister keeps licking he is none the worse for wear. No abnormalities were found on the scans, and we should get the lab results in a few days. So the plan for now is to adjust his medications and add diazepam if needed for severe cluster events.

have a family member who has sever life threatening epilepsy. went on a special diet that caused a form of ketosis and has been drug free for years. don't know why it wouldn't work for dogs?

This is something bwe have been talking to the Vet about, and is a possibility. Just waiting for the results of the lab work before we try this.

My little buddy has epilepsy and has started to have cluster events. So today he is having a cat scan and spinal tap to see what else we can do to help him out. Meds are working for the most part, but when he has an episode it has been getting progressively more intense. Just asking for prayers for Gus today that he may be alright.

As you can see, he's a good dog. A very, very good dog.
