Here’s a couple pics of the pre model 20 I spoke of wound up getting it for 480.00 Clearly it has had custom work done cause the action is as smooth as an early colt python.

From my understanding they only made 12000 including the huntsman version. So really a pretty rare find. Built to accommodate more powerful loads due to complaints from law enforcement officials about 38 not being powerful enough. I think it’s a keeper.

Also known as a 38/44 heavy duty. It can fire some hot .38 loads.
