Heck, just a birdshot round should give the wrist bones a pretty good workout unless they are ported.
Velocity is probably pretty weak though with the short barrel. Most shotgun powders take 18-20" of barrel to develop full velocity.

I was sitting here thinking that it's a neat looking booger but I'd never wanna shoot it. Then I remembered about the mini-shells. Now, I'm trying to decide if I really need it. Lol
HAHA, it kinda reminds me of the old double barrel rifle Howda's.

The first breech-loading howdah pistols were little more than sawn-off rifles, typically in .577 Snider or .577 [above]/450 Martini–Henry calibre. Later English firearms makers manufactured specially-designed howdah pistols in both rifle calibres and more conventional handgun calibres such as .455 Webleyand .476 Enfield.

Note the shortened cartridge. Probably the same concept as the Aquilla short shells.
