Progressive ideals being pushed in games

The creative director of the game is a gay loving liberal. This was done for one reason. I love the comment about if I’m an adult and I play video games then that all of the sudden means women can do some things I can’t. As if me playing games makes me worthless. I don’t live on them but I enjoy them. I also enjoy doing yard work, playing with my son, spending time with my wife and family too. I can also do A lot of mechanical things to my cars. But heaven forbid I play a video game. How childish of me. I guess the liberals on here just had to chime in because I mentioned not liking gays.

I don't have any issue with you playing video games, nor do i personally think you have to justify it. I also don't have an issue with your being against gay people (though i personally think you're misguided in that regard) so long as you don't try to deny gay people equal access (which i am not saying you are, just point out where my 'line' is).

What i find comical about your position is that you feel you're somehow being oppressed by this group making changes to a video game. As you noted, the director is a 'gay loving liberal', so why are you surprised that he or she would create a gay character? As i said, they could just as easily be working to increase their connection to their target audience. Times are changing and more people (not you) are accepting of people choosing to be different. It's not surprising that private businesses are responding to this.

But glad to see you fall back to the 'if you support the gays you must be a liberal' position. I can't imagine why any conservative folk would dare say that what two consenting adults choose to do is anyone's business but their own, or that a conservative can't also be gay.

Your issues with gays and women are your own and i don't frankly care, but when you make ridiculous statements don't be surprised when you get mocked accordingly.

If any of yall are gamers and follow E3 you know that the leftist agenda is being pushed hard. This disease is rapidly spreading everywhere. Now we have to deal with it in games. From replacing men characters with women to having gays in games. It is sickening. But one game preview in particular made me really disgusted. The last of Us was a game that came out in 2013. It isn’t your typical zombie game. It has one of the best stories I have ever seen in a game and the characters were great. It won numerous awards including game of the year. So I along with millions of others have been waiting for the sequel. Well it was confirmed a couple of years ago. We haven’t heard much about it until E3 this week. For those that don’t know E3 is the electronics expo. It features new games, systems and accessories. The last of us 2 had a new “gameplay” trailer that they released. It starts off with one of the main characters Ellie at a party with some friends. Then before you know it, Ellie and this girl start making out. Then it cuts to Ellie killing people to survive. Finally at the end it cuts back to the kissing. This was a blatant force of the leftist ideology. It wasn’t necessary to show this scene but they specifically chose it to push the whole gay acceptance thing. I am so sick of this crap. The left are such hypocrites. We are supposed to accept gays, murdering babies and other things but if we don’t we are called every name in the book. And women are being pushed to be equal to a man. This too makes me sick. Women are not equal to a man. That is biology. A woman can’t do anything a man can. This is being seen more and more with Hollywood and now with video games. I am all for women being treated fairly and equally under the law but beyond that there is nothing that says a women is and should be equal to a man. Socialism is being pushed on every front that the liberals can think of. There are a lot of young people that play these games and they see this crap and buy into it a lot of times. It’s pushed in school and everywhere else nowadays. Heaven forbid we teach good things like in years past. Just look at the difference from 30 years ago till now. Our country has plummeted fast. I would post the trailer but it has some language and I don’t want to get in trouble. Just look it up. If we keep allowing this crap to happen our country is going to fall and we won’t ever recover from it. It will be taken over by socialism. It’s already happening.

Lol, the newest/latest computer game I played was probably Quake3, HalfLife/Team Fortress, Unreal, Need For Speed III, Carnivores, or MS Combat Flight Simulator.

Those were before PC games tried to be "PC"...

I was gonna say "Frogger," but then I remembered "Leisure Suit Larry," "Space Quest," and "F117 Flight Similator."

Well, I'm a Christian as well. While I am against the "act" of homosexuality, I'm not really hating the actual people.

Jesus taught us to love our neighbor, and that doesn't just mean the person next door.

I don’t hate gays. I just don’t accept homosexuality. I had a gay friend in high school. But he didn’t push it on everyone like most gays today try and do. I don’t even care if their are gays in the game. It’s the fact that it was only put in there to push their agenda. They want everyone to accept homosexuality.

Quake was great! I used to play a game that you hooked to the tv and it had controls like in a plane and you could fly. It was awesome. Don’t remember what it was though. What ? No rad racer??
