Proof that Magpul is making PMAGs in other calibers (although not yet in 7.62x39)

I got really excited when I first heard about the "7.62 PMAG", but then realized it was for this rifle:

Which admittedly is still something to get excited about until I realized that the last time Magpul got me this excited about something - Bushmaster raped, beat to death, and then buried that dream.

The 7.62 PMAGs have been for sale for a couple months now. They fit everything EXCEPT the Armalite's (AR-10) and the M1A platform I believe. I picked up a couple for my DPMS and they work great.

Oh crap - well I got all excited when I read about them on another board and just assumed that they were 7.62x39 until I started looking into them - then I was mostly just focusing on the disappointment of seeing that they were 7.62x51 instead of the date that it was released (since I don't own an AR-10).

I haven't seen any in-stock anywhere (that's not to say I have been looking though).

Magpul is making some great stuff. I do have to agree with EZ Bake about the whole raping and beating of dreams by Bushmaster. I've held the prototype Massadas while visiting Magpul back in 08. They are nice but I don't know if we'll ever see them. I am excited about the new 40 round Pmags and the Emags, although I'm not sure why? I guess their just cool.
