Proposal for an OSA Hunting/Fishing "contest"

Don't really know where this came from, but I go to thinking about a possible "contest" for those that hunt and/or fish.

Here's the idea:

Contest would run from 12:01 A.M Saturday to 11:59 P.M. Sunday during Deer gun season and would include all game and fish species. 2 points for every pound of dressed game animal or fish. 1 point for every linear inch of antler (if any). Predators 5 points each. Hogs 10 points each.

I would provide a "trophy" that would consist of a small engraved plaque reading 2019 OSA Hunting/Fishing challenge nailed to a piece of weathered wood.

Contestants would post pictures of their entries, all entries must be taken using legal means with proper licence(s), giving the points in each category.

Sounds cool. Thanks for coming up with a cool idea to get folks active in the outdoors. How about adding some kind of bonus points for taking a kid out and letting them get their first deer or big fish? Just an idea. Really awesome thing to do man! Well Played.

I think a contest of some sort sounds like fun. Someone did something similar 9 or 10 years ago. I think he did it for all of deer season.
