Yea the ridiculous part of the regulation was you could tote an AR-10 with a 20 round mag around. But not an AR-15! Glad this is getting changed.
Sold the farm around '97... hopefully the statute ofignoranceerr... limitations has expired...
Can I thank you for the coon regulation changes too?
The 7 round mag limit for .22 caliber centerfire only applied to deer season. It had nothing to do with squirrel season and .22 rimfire.Lol, I don't remember taking more than one .22LR shot on a squirrel either...
EDIT: Oh, wait... yes I do. Took my nephew and a Stevens single shot .22 (I gave $5 for) to wander around the creek. Saw a squirrel in the top of a skyscraper-sized cottonwood (those suckers get really tall along creeks), and took 2-3 shots (straight up btw) to hit him.
Seemed like he fell for 30 seconds...
From the OP:The 7 round mag limit for .22 caliber centerfire only applied to deer season. It had nothing to do with squirrel season and .22 rimfire.
Read the whole context (Oklahoma Hunting Regulation Guide, p. 13):From the OP:
Clips or magazines of all .22 caliber firearms may not be capable of holding more than seven (7) rounds of ammunition.
Not a lawyer. Cheers.
