Gotcha but idk why people don’t just stack it. It’s still 40 cents a round for the good 7n6 canned stuff. 5.45 is still my main cartridge,
Because 5.45x39 isn’t going to get cheep again in the beer future, availability isn’t getting better and it is not a common placed American round. Some of us liked the 7.62x39 but it’s popular days at limited also. So that’s pretty much why.

I will always be able to get it for 40 cents or less. Even here in 5 years. I Know a guy with over 100k sitting. It’s cheaper than 556, sealed in time, great terminal ballistics especially compared to your common m193 or FMJ which is like 60-70 cents a round. So it’s still a viable cartridge and will be able to find ammo for a long while

Sounds like you got into the game late. The prices you say suck. Sounds like some stinky Tula and Beijing Biden inflated prices. Should be in the low 20s a round. That’s were it was like 9 months ago

To bad Obamanation banned the military surplus. It was cheeper than new 762x39. Could get a crate with two tins for like 300. It was a weird number of rounds close to 2200. Shite was awesome. One of the only reasons it was attractive and people liked it was because it was cheap just like 762x39.

Before the Russia ban of Biden it was low mid 200s for a K. So if the inflated prices over 400 a k sound good to you have at it.

Now that it cost about as much as standard military ammo like you brought up like M193 and the fact that 7n6 is not being cranked out here or priced like it should doesn’t make it attractive to most people.

I have PLENTY I’ll just say that. I never said I paid 40 cents, that’s just what it bringing nowadays. I was getting it for 12cents a round 8-10 years ago.
