Yeah, the Deputy Chief said he did his job well but dag-gum, he ruined a windshield. He wouldn't give up and he caught the evil-doers.

I don't see how he could come close to hitting the target through a slanted winshield.

Sheesh, a twig (pencil-sized?) can deflect a high-powered rifle enough to cause a miss. :/
I've seen some tests of pistol bullets through slanted windshields from the outside in, and from the inside out at the Shoot-n-iron facility in Shawnee.
Some bullets work and some don't. The Gold dot was the hands down winner, but that was years ago, and new bullet designs have been developed since then. I'd like to see a new test.
