Quality Chicken Fried Steak

So where is everyone's current favorite place for CFS? Cheever's on NW 23rd Street in OKC has been very good the last few times I've been there. The Charleston's on South Meridian is good too; I like the gravy on the side so the steak stays crunchy.

My pops knows where every good piece of Fried Chicken or Chicken fried steak in Oklahoma is I am pretty sure and he took me to a bunch of them. The best I ever had is closed now a place on the way to Cleavland OK called Judy Anns had the absolute best pan friend steak as they called it. It was a pan fried chicken fried steak with real gravy made in the same pan. Oh man it was delicious.

I'm still looking for the best CFS within a reasonable drive from home.

Seems like none of them are like I remember getting from the small cafes that used to be around.

I haven't tried Ann's or Kendall's. Cheever's jalapeno gravy on a CFS has never sounded good to me.

I was getting one now and then at the restaraunt in the Blackhawk Casino until I quit going because I cant carry there. It was decent for the price and good sized but nothing to go out of your way for.
