Question: May an Oklahoma resident loan a firearm to a resident

I believe you have to ship it from a FFL here to a Texas FFL ,
You don't need an FFL on the sending end, just on the receiving end. Pretty sure you could drive it down there and have the TX FFL do the transfer to her, then she could drive it back up here and have an OK FFL handle the transfer back if you want to go to all that trouble.

Transfer or loan? There are two different terms altogether. If one loans something there is the indication that they will receive it back and a transfer is to lose ownership.

this is still america.....if you are worried about her, don't. If you ain't then take care of her like your little sister, my .02 ymmv. Not the answer to your question, and I know all this stuff is controversial now, but dang man. There was a time we didn't have internet, we used our best judgement in a situation. Sometimes we were wrong, some not.

No read paragraph b the exception.

18 U.S.C. 922(a)(5)

It shall be unlawful--for any person (other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector) to transfer, sell, trade, give, transport, or deliver any firearm to any person (other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector) who the transferor knows or has reasonable cause to believe does not reside in the State in which the transferor resides" post=  except that this paragraph shall not apply to (A) the transfer, transportation, or delivery of a firearm made to carry out a bequest of a firearm to, or an acquisition by intestate succession of a firearm by, a person who is permitted to acquire or possess a firearm under the laws of the State of his residence, and (B) the loan or rental of a firearm to any person for temporary use for lawful sporting purposes;
