Question on Lifetime Hunting/Fishing License

Just purchased one this week for my kid’s 18th birthday. Prices have gone up again (I think). Pretty sure the combo was $725 last time I looked. Now $775. Still worth it in my opinion.

Picked mine up in 2014 and it was $775.

Got mine for $400 paid for itself in 4 years (we used to survive on deer meat and I wasn’t a trophy hunter)
2 boys for $525
1 boy for $725 I tried to get his before it went up July 1 of 2003 before he was born and Alan Peoples said he had to be born first LOL. He was born July 30th.
First 2 boys have paid for the licenses
Last boy is pretty close but he’s an evening deer hunter and only when it’s convenient.

So, from what you all posted about the prices over the years it seem like the price increases over the last 30 years has been faily modest Not much of a yearly creep in rate.

For a price increase it takes Legislature approval. Lifetime cost doesn't increase very often.

When I turned 65 twelve years ago the combo lifetime was free.

Can't find the info and have heard varying opinions. If one buys a lifetime hunting/fishing license are there any other costs to hunt or fish each year as far as tags or otherwise? How does this work? Thanks

Got my lifetime senior combo when I turned 65 back in 2015 for $25.00 and mama got her lifetime senior fishing in 2017 for $15.00..........I agree, pretty darn good deal for us old folks from ODWC.
