Questions about selling a Motorcycle

So it looks like I'm facing back surgery so the motorcycle I bought isn't getting any use. For those who have sold a bike, how did you handle it? Test rides? Payment? Craigslist?

Nice bike. No rides without m endorsement and cash in hand. You drop it you buy it. Price it fairly and it will weed out the tirekickers. Someone shows up without motorcycle licence or cash you ride it to show it runs and rides.

I have sold a few, craigslist is a good place to list it. I agree with the post above, no test rides unless the buyer is serious about buying it. I also agree with having an endorsement to ride it.

NO TEST RIDES!!! (You will have a crash and dash). Cash only. Use a counterfeit detector pen on the money (available at Staples). Take a gun. Meet in public. In daylight. With an armed backup.

Avoid payments like the plague. If they can't get a loan because of bad credit, chances are slim they'll pay you either.

Craigslist is full of scammers, with all kinds of wild stories etc., so be careful. Do it like the others on this thread say.

cash only, they cant take the bike out for a test ride unless they show cash...they lay it over while testing they buy it.
